Meta Pixel & Conversions API

Stop losing Meta conversions to iOS and blockers.

The Pixel alone misses a growing share of your events. We set up the Meta Pixel and Conversions API together, properly deduplicated, so Meta sees your real conversions and optimises on them.

Why it matters

The Meta Pixel on its own is no longer enough

The browser Pixel was built for a world without iOS privacy prompts and ad blockers. Today, a large share of Meta users block or limit the Pixel, so events never reach Meta. When Meta can't see your conversions, it can't optimise for them, your ads chase clicks instead of buyers, and your reported results shrink even when sales don't.

The Conversions API fixes this by sending events server-to-server, straight from your site to Meta, alongside the Pixel. Set up correctly, with proper deduplication so the same event isn't counted twice, it restores the signal Meta needs to bid well. This is the difference between Meta guessing and Meta knowing, and it's one of the highest-impact setups for any brand advertising on Meta.

The problem

Your Pixel is missing events

And a badly set up CAPI often makes it worse, not better.

📱

iOS blocks the Pixel

Privacy prompts and tracking limits mean the browser Pixel misses a big slice of your conversions.

🚫

Ad blockers stop it firing

Many users block the Pixel entirely, so those events never reach Meta at all.

📋

Double-counting from bad CAPI

Running Pixel and CAPI without a shared event_id makes Meta count purchases twice, inflating your numbers.

🧭

Poor match quality

Without Advanced Matching and clean parameters, Meta can't attribute events to the right people.

📈

Weak optimisation

Missing conversions mean Meta's algorithm learns from partial data and finds worse audiences.

Numbers you can't trust

Under-reporting or double-counting leaves you unsure whether Meta is actually working.

What we do

Pixel and CAPI, working as one

We set up both layers together and deduplicate them, so Meta gets every conversion once, with strong match quality. Here's what you get.

  • Meta Pixel installed and mapped to your key events
  • Conversions API set up server-side (via GTM or server container)
  • Deduplication with a shared event_id so nothing is double-counted
  • Advanced Matching with hashed first-party data for better match rates
  • Correct event & value mapping for purchases and leads
  • Consent respected so you collect only what's allowed
  • Validation in Events Manager and full documentation

The point of Pixel plus CAPI: send Meta every conversion once, with strong match quality, so its algorithm optimises on real buyers instead of a shrinking, blocked sample.

FAQ

Meta Pixel & CAPI, answered

What is the Conversions API (CAPI)?+
CAPI sends conversion events to Meta directly from your server, alongside the browser Pixel. It captures events the Pixel misses due to iOS, ad blockers and browser limits.
Do I still need the Pixel if I have CAPI?+
Yes, you run both. The Pixel captures browser signals and CAPI captures server signals; together, deduplicated, they give Meta the most complete picture.
What is deduplication and why does it matter?+
When Pixel and CAPI both send the same event, Meta needs a shared event_id to know it's one conversion, not two. Without it, your numbers get inflated. We set this up correctly.
Will this improve my ad performance?+
Better, more complete conversion data usually helps Meta's optimisation find better audiences. It won't fix a weak offer, but it removes the tracking handicap.
Does CAPI work with Shopify or WooCommerce?+
Yes. We set it up for Shopify, WooCommerce and custom stores, with correct purchase values and deduplication.
Is the audit really free?+
Yes. We review your Pixel and CAPI, check match quality and duplication, and show you what to fix, at no cost.
